Memorial Day Weekend Events in Lancaster, PA

Are you tired of all the rain and cool weather?  Maybe you should treat yourself to a Memorial Day Weekend get-a-way to Lancaster!  O'Flaherty's Dingeldein House B&B has a few rooms left for the weekend if you feel the need to escape!  Check our availability to reserve a room. 

Here are a few of the activities and events scheduled for this weekend.  At the Intercourse Canning Company on Friday May 27 and Saturday May 28 there will be the Red White & Blueberry Celebration.  They will be sampling all products red white and blueberry. 

The Bird-n-Hand Fire Company will hold it's annual Chicken BBQ on Saturday May 28.  Eat in their air-conditioned dinning room, adults $10 children $6 or take out for $8.50.  If you would just like to take out chicken it is only $6.

If Wine is to your liking, Waltz Vineyard will have a Summer Concert on Saturday May 28  form 5-8 p.m. Amy Ash and the Volcanoes will be the band with a special menu provided by Procida's. Bring your glasses, chairs and blankets and pack a picnic if you would like. Wine is available by the bottle and no other alcoholic beverages are permitted.

For a taste of Lancaster County, experience The Great Pennsylvania Flavor Fest on Saturday May 28 and Sunday May 29.  Taste the flavors of Pennsylvania at the Great Pennsylvania FlavorFest, an all-encompassing showcase of Pennsylvania's unique cuisines and the region's cultural diversity. Not just your average food and wine festival, FlavorFest will dish up a delicious array of the state's culinary and wine offerings and the finest in artisan crafts. Enjoy cooking demos; a variety of workshops presented by industry leaders; tasting and sales of the area's finest wine and regional foods; live music and much, much more!  The event is at the Mount Hope Estate &Winery.

If you would like to catch a show while visiting, Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre is featuring the Unsinkable Molly Brown, and at The Rainbow Dinner Theatre, Who Goes Bare.
