May 6 is First Friday in Downtown Lancaster

First Friday's in Downtown Lancaster is always a celebration of the arts.  Every month, without exception, you can walk around and explore 70 plus arts venues.  There are always new exhibitions, live music, theatrical performances, artist receptions and fun to be had by all.  There are also many unique boutiques and outstanding restaurants to explore. 

Central Market, the nations oldest continuously running indoor farmer's market, will be joining in this month's First Friday Celebration.  The completion of a $7 million renovation project that began in April 2010 will be celebrated.  There will be music outside the market and the market will be open till 9 pm.  This market is rich with history, wonderful vendors and a beautiful building to behold.
