Mid Atlantic Innkeepers Conference and Trade Show

Have you ever wondered how innkeepers keep up with the ever changing world around us?  Mobile phone with apps., google places on google maps, blogs, tweets, facebook posts, etc. etc.  Yes in order to give our guests what they want and need, we have to keep up with the latest technology.

Just like many businesses, there are shows and conferences to attend as well as webinars and chat groups that keep us informed with the latest products and services for our guests.  There are professional organizations that focus on inn keeping.  The Professional Association of Innkeepers International or PAII is one such organization on the national level.  There are state associations as well as local ones.

The Mid Atlantic Innkeepers Conference and Trade Show is having its annual conference starting this Sunday March 6 and runs through Tuesday March 8 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  There is a floor show with many vendors attending to show us their unique products to improve our guests experience as well as products to make our lives easier as well.  The show is loaded with seminars to help us in areas we are not up to date on or want to become more knowledgeable about.

So as you can see, there is always something for an innkeeper to learn and we are always looking for ways to make our guests experience superb!
